Today is a life-or-death situation. In one hour the local authority of a small Welsh town will decide the fate of a 250-year-old majestic oak tree. Resorting to desperate measures, an environmental activist takes the local councillor hostage, but things don't quite go according to plan.......
‘Tree’ is bilingual (Cymraeg/English) environmental comedy from Cardiff-based company Triongl who specialise in writing new plays about contemporary issues through witty dialogue, physical comedy and poignant drama. A thoughtful play on the complexities of climate activism that asks how we can save our communities as well as the planet .

Comedi ddwyieithog (yn Gymraeg a Saesneg) am yr amgylchedd yw ‘Tree’. Mae wedi’i chynhyrchu gan Triongl, y cwmni o Gaerdydd sy’n arbenigo mewn creu dramâu newydd am faterion cyfoes, a hynny drwy ddeialog ffraeth, comedi gorfforol a thipyn go lew o ing. Mae ‘Tree’ yn ddrama feddylgar am gymhlethdodau ymgyrchu dros yr hinsawdd, ac mae’n gofyn sut y gallwn ni achub ein cymunedau yn ogystal â'r blaned.
